Couples work can transform both your practice and your perspective.

Training in couples therapy does far more than add a new service to your practice. It can bring additional clients and increase your income, while also enriching your work with individuals, because most clients are navigating relationship issues in some form. Understanding relational dynamics deepens your clinical insight, helping you recognise patterns that affect partners, families, and children.

Many therapists also find that the learning influences their own relationships, giving them a richer understanding of communication, conflict, attachment, intimacy, and connection. Couples work can transform both your practice and your perspective.

Our Certificate Training in Working with Couples consists of six modules, each offering 15 hours of training over three days.

The next modules with spaces available are:

Sex, Arousal and Ageing, starting on 10 August, and

Communication and Difference, starting on 14 August.

Alternatively, you can begin with:

Fundamentals of Working with Couples, which starts on 17 September.

Whether you want to expand your practice, increase your confidence in working with relationship issues, or deepen your understanding of relational dynamics, these courses offer practical skills, theoretical depth, and immediately applicable learning.

JULIET'S MUSINGS

54. Staying on My Side of the Fence

You cannot control what people think about you, but you can control how you show up, so stay on your side of the fence and let your actions speak for themselves.

I once heard someone describe emotional boundaries as fences. Not high, defensive walls designed to keep people out, but simple fences marking where my responsibilities end and yours begin.

It is such a useful image.
