Hello fellow reader,

Here I thought I was being clear yesterday, but since Books2Read opens into Kobo on my desktop, I didn't see that Books2Read had some sort of crazy problem updating. And now it claims An Audience with the King has two authors: Kat Caldwell and Kat Caldwell.

So that didn't work. I believe this link works https://books2read.com/u/mv28Kz

But I'm made you click too many things now so the picture is below.

Thank you for being patient with me and my tech issues!!!!

If you don't know, the old cover is this:

And the new cover is.....

Rest of yesterday's email here:

I wanted to get a Christmas story out this year, but the only thing I could think of was (weirdly enough) a horror story. So that's not coming out. Might be the fact that I caught my husband's head cold. Perhaps the stabbing pain through my temples is making me think of serial killers...

She’s fallen for the biggest traitor in Scottish history. But are the history books right?

Love has never been on emergency nurse Emma’s radar. But after an ancient well catapults her into the distant past, she crosses paths with a troubled yet sensitive man who threatens to steal her heart. But then she makes a terrible discovery: she’s falling for the biggest traitor in Scotland’s history.

Deeply distrustful of women, highlander Jamie Campbell is careful to keep an arm’s distance between himself and the beautiful young healer. But beneath his façade, Emma sees a kind-hearted warrior who’s wrestling with conflicting feelings. She begins to realize that Jamie can’t possibly be the infamous traitor she read about in her history books.

After a poisoned drink leaves one of their clan almost dead, Emma and Jamie are thrust into a race against time to unmask a shadowy killer. As they struggle to trust one another, Emma finds herself torn between returning home to her father or protecting the man she’s come to admire – and she finds it increasingly difficult to resist the magnetic attraction between them...

But when secrets come out and Jamie discovers Emma’s past, can he handle the truth? Or will their mutual fear of love send Emma back across the centuries?

Step into a historical enemies-to-lovers romance that sees two troubled souls brought together in a magnetic and explosive love story. With period-perfect detail and all the beauty of the Scottish highlands, Trusting Her Highlander is a novel you won’t want to miss. Scroll up and grab your copy now...
