change of cover, please!

Hello fellow reader,
This week I've been brainstorming Cornered and again decided to delete scenes and move the action up to the front. I woke up in a panic wondering if I'm butchering it too much, but I'm pretty confident I'm not.
Well, I'm as confident as a writer in the middle of the storm can be...
In order to distract me from my worries, I decided to change up the cover for An Audience with the King. Have it look a little more like speculative fiction. I don't think the old cover was necessarily bad, but it sometimes reminded me of a daily devotional. Which the story definitely is NOT!

I wanted to get a Christmas story out this year, but the only thing I could think of was (weirdly enough) a horror story. So that's not coming out. Might be the fact that I caught my husband's head cold. Perhaps the stabbing pain through my temples is making me think of serial killers...
