Happy May! I love this time of year! The weather is nice (well, lots of places, at least), the school year is almost done, and it's almost summer! Even though my family homeschools year-round and now we almost always travel to decent weather, there's still something magical. Maybe it's that I've ticked enough check boxes that I feel like I can finally relax; who knows? Do you love this time of year? Have you finished your homeschool year (or decided you've done enough) or do you still have a few things to finish up?

Games are a great way to learn this time of year! Here are the new reviews I posted last month:

• Astro Trash is a super fun, fast game that's sure to lead to lots of laughs!
• Oh, the Places You'll Go! is a much calmer game that is similar to Would You Rather?
• Escape room games saw an explosion in popularity a few/several years ago (okay, no one's going to accuse me of being an early adopter of any trends!) but I've always been shy about them since they're single-use only. If you'd like a better idea of whether these games are right for your family, check out my review of EXIT the Game!
• Latice is a calm tile-laying game of matching and strategy.
• Herd Your Horses was a favorite of mine as a child, and I was so excited to find a copy to share with my horse-loving daughter.

This month, you can look for posts on Habitat, Backyard Builders Treehouse, Ultimate Werewolf, and Escape Academy. On the YouTube channel, we have play-throughs up for Rat-A-Tat Cat, Bugs!, EXIT the Game, Shut the Box, and Oh, the Places You'll Go!. This month, you can look for play-throughs of Beep! Beep!, Backyard Builders Treehouse, Astro Trash, and Rainbow Math 3: Pirate Adventure.
