Hi ,
Ahh, the new year! A fresh start and six months of me writing the wrong year. Do you make New Year's resolutions? I've never been a big fan, myself, but I'm curious if you do. If you want, hit reply and let me know what yours are!
On the blog, I finished up the reviews on chemistry games in December:
- Ion is a card game on the smaller side, yet is full of learning about ionic compounds.
- Compounded is a slightly bigger chemistry game with lots of throwbacks to high school chemistry class.
- Subatomic is a bigger game that is fantastic for both chemistry and physics, as it helps you learn about what atoms are composed of. One of my favorite parts is that it has a booklet on the science behind the game!
- And if you just want a brief overview before diving into any particular review, here's my roundup of all the chemistry games we've tried over the years.
This month, you can look forward to reviews of another escape room, Brave New Worlds, Carmen Sandiego, and Loot.
On the YouTube channel, I have new play-throughs up of CAMP, Chronology, Betabotz, and the Dangerous Book for Boys Game. This month, you can look for play-through videos of Not Parent Approved, Latice, Mission: Survival, and Herd Your Horses.
I hope your new year is off to a great start! If there's anything I can do to help your homeschooling, please don't hesitate to reach out. Until next time,
Happy Gaming!
