Happy April!

Hi ,
First of all, I apologize if this is a repeat email. I screwed up scheduling it the first time and it started sending before I could delete it. If you got the previous email, feel free to delete this one; nothing has changed. :)
March was a whirlwind of activity, wasn't it? I have to admit; I was a bit busy for my comfort. So that I can recover my sanity and peace, I will take a bit of a step back for a little while. I have big ideas for Gypsy Gameschooler that I'm really excited about, but I need less chaos in my life for a little while. There might be a few weeks without new blog posts or new game play-through videos, but I'll try to keep up on those.
During this time, you can look for some updates to the website that are long overdue. I will start weekly lives in The Homeschool Quest Free and Affordable - Gameschooling & Purposeful Play Facebook group. I'm thinking Thursday afternoons, maybe 1 pm Pacific time. If you haven't joined me in that group yet, come on over and say hi! That will be the only location those lives will air, and they will cover topics like how to make and play different games, tips for gameschooling different subjects, and how to find the learning in different games and playful activities. Expect each live to last 10-15 minutes.
Oh, yeah, I already agreed to write another article for Homeschool Quest's magazine on outdoor games, so look forward to that. I'll be sure to let you know when it goes live so you don't miss it.
Okay, enough about me and on to the most recent reviews and play-throughs!
In March, I reviewed The World geography board game. I had previously reviewed the card game, but we got the opportunity to try the board game, so find out which we prefer and why.
Wildcraft is a great cooperative game for learning about herbs.
Are your kids learning about chemistry? Covalence is a great logic and guessing game with many chemical formulas.
Spot It! is a great game for visual acuity that can be played by kids of any age! Its small size means it's easy to take with you, too, and no reading is required.
New play-through videos cover The World Board Game, Wingspan, Pandemic, and Mancala.
My family will be traveling more frequently this year, and we are so excited to see more of our country! Do you have any upcoming travel plans? Favorite places to visit? We have a hard time deciding on a favorite; our answer tends to be a resounding "YES!!!" So many places are amazing!
Until next time, Happy Gaming!
