I know I released Apothecary’s Price on Patreon and Kindle Vella, but I’d love to hear from you about where my next book should be.
I wrote and revised this book during my MFA, so it is a complete 34-chapter, 90-ish thousand-word grimdark fantasy. I was thinking of releasing it on Kindle Vella as well, but then I thought about it and wanted to hear from you first. Would you rather I release this book on Kindle Vella too, or perhaps release it to read for free on Royal Road? Either way, Patreon supporters will get chapters released to them earlier.
On The Desk
If you haven’t read Apothecary’s Price yet, the first three chapters are free. After that, you can buy each chapter for only a few tokens a piece.
When revenge is sweet, will you choose to take it when your only lead is from a stranger?
Robynn has only known the confines of life as an apothecary. With her father now gone and a high-ranking member of the council pushing to buy the last piece she has left of her family, Robynn must determine if she is willing to leave it all behind or uncover something far darker lurking in the corners of her city.
Around The Desk
Well, I beat Pokemon. That game made me tear up twice and I didn’t think a Pokemon game could do that to me. It had its weird glitches, but overall, I had a lot of fun with it.
With that out of the way, I’m likely going to refocus my attention back on writing more often again until the next butterfly comes and attacks me.
On The Bookshelf
I paused a little bit on listening to Shadowdance book 2 this week. Mostly because I wanted to focus more on how I could enhance myself and what I provide for you all as an author. So it’s a lot of nonfiction pieces all over the place.
Are You On My Patreon
Patreon supporters will receive exclusive access to stories as I am writing them, including early access. Occasionally, I will also send out a physical collection of short stories I have written to supporters.
