Hey Dragons!
On The Desk
Earlier this week I decided to start streaming a bit more of my writing on Twitch. It was so fun getting words on the screen related to a new project. This one included a short story for a future anthology due later this month.

When I’m not working on that project, I’m busy scribbling away on the Apothecary’s Price manuscript to prepare for my second draft before I send it over to my critique group.
Around The Desk
I recently started playing Valorant. Not to the point where it takes from my writing or reading time. More like 2-3 hours a week max. I usually just play quick games with my husband, but it’s honestly really fun and a great way to relax after I hit my word count every day.
On The Bookshelf
I ended up putting a hold on reading Her Dark Love. It wasn’t a bad read but definitely told in a fairytale-like sense that I couldn’t maintain my attention. If you’re someone who loves more of the romantic era style writing with fairytale style, she has a strong voice in her series.
Instead, I’m switching gears to a fantasy romance anthology called Kingdoms of Night with the first short story being Bound to the Fae Assassin. I’m not too far into the book right now, but we will see if it can hold my attention.
