Hey Dragons!
On The Desk
During my live stream on Twitch, I managed to finish Apothecary’s Price and start working on a short story for an anthology piece as well. I was so excited to finally hit the end on Apothecary’s Price. I’ve done my first round of edits which is honestly just letting my spell checker do all the work on Word. In the next round, I plan to red pen the entire piece on my iPad and then clean it up so you all can read it soon. We’ll see how fast I can get that done.
While we wait, I’m putting Shadow of the Crown free this weekend only. So grab a copy and then check out the rest of the series too!
Around The Desk
This week I haven’t done as much walking as I’ve been really tired and barely able to sleep most days. Not to mention it’s been really hot outside. Yesterday it cooled down a little and as payment, I took my dogs to the dog park for a few hours to play. They loved it out there and were super tired. If it wasn’t an almost 20-minute drive, I would totally take them every day, but I probably won’t have that kind of time every day.
On The Bookshelf
I’m still working through Isra’s series right now. Not much to update on my bookshelf of new books being read.
I also grabbed a bunch of books off my shelves that were duplicates of other books or ones that I bought for the school and don’t plan on reading again. I’m going to try and take them to Half Price Books and get some funds from it to buy more books.
