Before we get into my books and writing life, I wanted to feature one of my friend’s books that just launched.
Fedor is a thief...and a killer.
Soren changed everything. Life will never be the same.
Armed with a magical blade, Fedor has no choice but to accept his first contract as an assassin.
His target is the most dangerous man in Nordturm.
Is the price high enough for Fedor to kill again?
Will he choose between the life of a thief, or the life of an assassin?
What will happen to the surviving members of his gang?
Trial of Thieves is the follow-up to Dawn of Assassins, a gritty dark fantasy tale about friendship, loyalty, and survival.
Order now because you won’t be able to put this one down.
On The Desk
I had some big ghostwriting gigs come up these last few weeks which has kept me really busy. Thankfully I have enough backlog of many of my regular books that it isn’t too bad.
Shade of the Kitsune and Taken by the Kitsune, my grimdark and fantasy romance are both being updated regularly for those who follow me and want to keep reading more about the different adventures I’ve created.
I still need to write the rest of Taken by the Kitsune, so that is my first project of the year. If all goes well, I will continue that series with additional books.
After that, my next big project will likely be another grimdark fantasy Death Deserved. While the title is pending right now, I really like it. The entire story is outlined and I’m ready to go full gear into it.
Around The Desk
I’m still studying Japanese right now. It’s been a bit slower process these last two weeks because I’ve been busy and so chaotic. I’m also going back to the gym again in the mornings before work. I have my planner set up so I can track my water intake. I thought I was drinking enough water before I tracked it and realized I was only doing 25% of what I needed. Last night I did manage to drink the amount of water I needed in a day and hopefully, I can keep that up. In terms of the gym, just surviving while I’m out there will be a good time.
On The Bookshelf
While I am still working on reading my fiction, I did just finish The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. I have no idea how well I will do with trying to wake up earlier. It’s definitely difficult but I feel like I might get a lot more done if I do that.I would love to hear if anyone else has done the Miracle Morning and what their thoughts on it are.
