On The Desk
I finished the short story and loved how it turned out! I can’t wait to showcase the cover for the anthology when it goes up for pre-order. I think you all will love all the stories inside.
Shade of the Kitsune also moved from RoyalRoad to Kindle Vella. If you don’t know what Vella is, it’s a serialized reading platform on Amazon. Right now it’s only available to those in the US.
The first three episodes of every story on there are free and if it’s your first time on Kindle Vella you get 200 tokens for free!
To put that in perspective, you could grab about 33 episodes of certain stories to read for free.
By reading books on Vella you’re supporting authors to continue writing in new ways and publish new stories faster than ever.
Around The Desk
My son’s been in peewee football the last few weeks as a first year and I can definitely say he’s improved so much since he started. I’m super proud of him and even if it has shortened my writing time by a few hours each day, I still appreciate everything he has done to make himself better each time and having fun.
Even if when he gets tackled he flies backward like someone in a cartoon.
On The Bookshelf
I’m still working my way through the dark fantasy romance. I can see why a lot of people enjoy that genre, but I’m not sure if I could casually read it often or write it.
Maybe when I’m done with it I can check other books in the genre out. But for now, it’s definitely a tough read because of the darker sides. And that’s saying something from a grimdark author.
I hope to leave a review once I’m done reading.
I’d love to hear what you’re currently reading!
