What Made You Start Reading More Again?

On The Desk

I’m almost done writing my anthology piece. It’s going a lot better than I expected and there’s some stuff I ended up including that wasn’t in my outline. I didn’t think those pieces would end up in there but they’re so good of hints to the character’s true potential and pushed the two love interests closer together.

For those following my other works, I took a hiatus on Taken by the Kitsune so I could refocus on this short story. In two weeks, I’m expecting to work on my own stories again and also publish another Grimdark Fantasy I’m rewriting the first few chapters (again) to better fit the genre I want it to be in.

I’m workshopping a title for it since I don’t like the original anymore, but I have a cover for it and am excited to start working on it again.

Around The Desk

I’m still slowly chipping away at the One Piece episodes. I don’t even know what episode I’m on anymore since I’ve been binge-watching it throughout the day. Maybe I’ll finish the show by the end of the year? Maybe the end of next year?

I played a few rounds of the new update to Phasmaphobia as well and loved how much it was scaring me again! I need to play Demonologist again too because there are a few new maps I haven’t tried out.

On The Bookshelf

Last week I mentioned I was reading Ice Planet Barbarian, finished it, and started reading book 2. I did have to put it on pause because I got invited to read an ARC of a dark fantasy romance.

I’ve never read anything in that genre and it’s definitely interesting to read. I’m not sure it’s my favorite romance subgenre, but I’ll definitely finish it to give it an honest review.

I’d love to hear what you’re currently reading!
