Quote of the week:

I never tire of quotes that remind me to take action.

You can spend all of your time reading books, taking courses, or learning theory, but nothing in your life will every change unless you do something.

There is no such thing as perfection.

We don't live long enough to do anything perfect.

The best time to start is right now.

The only thing you need to learn how to do is how to take the next step. Then take that step!

Doing something you've never done before is a lot like driving through the fog.

You can't see far ahead of you, but if you keep going, eventually the fog will clear.

So listen to Napoleon Hill. Don't wait.

Book Of The Month for May: Why We Sleep

image

In April we focused on wealth, on spending consciously and investing automatically.

Read the full Book Report for April's book of the month.

This month we will focus on health, and the number one determinant for health is...sleep!

Why We Sleep is a powerfully researched book on everything that has to do with sleep. I have outlined the book below, as well as broke out which chapters we will be reviewing each week.

Sleep is the foundation of your health, and we strongly recommend reading along, and taking action to improve the quality of your sleep.

Tips or Tools of the week: Wisdom, Health or Wealth

Each week I share either three tips or three tools that will help you become wiser, healthier, and wealthier.

Wisdom tip of the week: Progress beats perfection

Life is short so actions matter.

You don't have time to wait on perfection.

Take the chance.

Write the book.

Health tip of the week: Controlling inflammation could be a major component to fighting disease

We know that the COVID-19 virus jumped to humans from bats.

In fact a lot of diseases tend to do that. Bats have traditionally been thought to have a superior immune system.

But let's take a look at this image from an article in the scientific journal Nature.

It shows that humans have a much more dramatic inflammatory response (see the red line).

There are a lot of ways to reduce inflammation in your body.

A few of them are:

  • Eating less sugar
  • Heat or Cold therapy (Saunas, cold showers, etc)
  • CBD apparently does this
  • SLEEPING

There are probably thousands more ways, but the point is that reducing your inflammatory response will have a positive impact on your body.

Wealth tip of the week: Don't rely on a single source of income

There is a rule I like to try to live by: Never give one person the power to upend your life with a single decision.

When the only money you earn is from your job, you are giving your boss that kind of power.

My wealth tip this week is to read this article and think about what kind of additional income streams you can add.

My best performing article ever is about this exact topic.

You can read it here.

I follow this advice closely.

My current income streams:

  • Primary job
  • Medium article writing
  • Rental income
  • Crypto mining income
  • Crypto lending interest income

Income streams in the works:

  • Courses
  • Books
  • Crypto Staking
