Why your events aren’t filling (and it’s not your promo)

Hey ,

Let’s talk about something a lot of people are thinking, but not saying out loud:

“Why isn’t my event filling up?”

  • Because it’s usually not your landing page.
  • Not your tech.
  • Not even your promo strategy.

It’s what happened before you ever announced the event.

TL;DR:

You don’t fill events with last-minute marketing.

You fill them with trust, relationships and consistent visibility.

Here’s what’s going on 👇

You’re promoting… but not nurturing

If people only hear from you when you have something to sell, they’re not showing up. Period.

You have content… but no system

A livestream here, a post there, but nothing working together to build momentum.

You’re getting attention… but not the right audience

More views don’t equal more conversions. The wrong people will watch and still never buy.

You’re showing up… but not engaging

Talking at your audience isn’t the same as building with them.

The shift most people need to make:

Stop asking:

“How do I get more people to register?”

Start asking:

“Why would someone trust me enough to show up?”

Because that’s the real strategy.

What I’m seeing right now (and testing in real time):

  • Conversations are outperforming polished presentations
  • Smaller, engaged groups are converting better than big, cold audiences
  • Content that continues after the event is where the real growth happens

In other words…

👉 It’s not about the event. It’s about the ecosystem around it!

If you’re hosting (or thinking about hosting) virtual events:

Take a look at your last one and ask yourself:

  • Did I build momentum before this event?
  • Am I continuing the conversation after it ends?
  • Do my people actually know, like and trust me?

If any of those feel shaky… that’s your starting point.

I’ve been having some really honest, unfiltered conversations about this lately and they’re changing how I think about events, content and growth as a whole.
