You can’t fill an event in 7 days (here’s what actually works)

Hey ,
Yesterday’s conversation? Whew. It went there.
We started with a simple question:
“If you had to fill a virtual event in 7 days, what would you do?”
And the answers were… not what most people want to hear.
TL;DR (because time matters):
You don’t fill an event in 7 days.
You fill it with the relationships, trust and content you’ve been building all along.
What came up in the room 👇
1. Relationships > Reach
Posting about your event isn’t enough.
The people who show up? They usually already know you.
2. Audience clarity is everything
You can have a great idea… and still miss the mark if your audience doesn’t understand it (or isn’t ready for it).
3. Conversations are outperforming presentations
Less talking at people. More talking with them.
(Which is exactly why we’re shifting formats 👀)
4. Content systems > one-off events
Your livestream shouldn’t end when the event does.
That’s where repurposing, visibility and long-term growth come in.
5. Trust drives conversions—not tactics
You can fill a room with the wrong people real fast.
But that doesn’t mean anything converts.
A better question to ask:
Instead of
“How do I get people to show up?”
Try:
“Am I building something people actually want to come back to?”
We’re leaning into more of these open, real-time conversations moving forward because, this is where the good stuff happens.
No slides. No graphics. Just a conversation on what’s working (and what’s not).
