This is a busy time of year, but last week was particularly busy for our team. We want to share a bit of what's been happening at HDAA.

Australian Export awards

Scott and Chris headed to Canberra last Thursday for the Australian Export Awards.

It was an absolute honour to be named the SA winner this year and be invited to attend the national final at Parliament House. We didn't take home the "big one", but it was a fantastic opportunity to meet other outstanding businesses and simply be inspired.

The AEA is presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and is now in its 61st year. It is a national program that celebrates the achievements of extraordinary Australian exporters, and the far‑reaching impact they have on the nation’s economy.

Face-to-face event in Melbourne

We were delighted to host this Members-only event at the Hotel Grand Chancellor last Friday. Attendees enjoyed a fascinating presentation from Dean Toovey, and it was a great chance to catch up with fellow HDAA members and discuss our industry challenges over a bite to eat.🥂

Face-to-face meetups are a valuable part of membership and are always a good time to make connections. We look forward to the next one, coming soon to a venue near you!
