Hello !
What a wild ride its been since the last email update. There is a lot to cover, and so much more coming on the horizon. I will try to keep it short and sweet.
Industry updates
There has been a flurry of activity in the Service Management space, with changes/updates and movements.
1: New courses announced by PeopleCert - See more here - The practices are back baby!
These were released for the certification:
Monitor, Support & Fulfil, the first batch of 5 individual practices, consists of:
- Service Desk
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Service Request Management
- Monitoring and Event Management
2: Long term (40+ yrs) industry contributor leaving ITIL framework - See Linkedin post here - Potential new framework on the horizon?

3. ITIL framework renewal for certifications is now in affect. This means CPD is a requirement for all AXELOS products. I.E. ITIL, Prince2 etc, See blog post here
HDAA updates
We have been busy behind the scenes, and almost ready to migrate our new tools/website to the community. With the update will come new features and tools which will give you a more succinct pathway to follow.
Notably we have now partnered with CEG to offer as a part of your membership, access to the Champions assessment tool. You can read more about this here (note this will be available to all members in the new financial year)
The Champions portal, is also accompanied by Guruquiz, which is our custom built exam preparation tool. This was developed initially for our Partners at the ASD, which has now been released for use by our members in addition to Champions. We will write a blog soon on how to use these tools.
LMS courses
All paid courses now include LMS access. This means that each paying student will have access to the LMS to review slides, do mock exams, quizzes and download reading material during and after the course. All courses come with 12 months access. (note this will be available to all members in the new financial year)
The LMS service will be included for all paying members who purchase a course (face to face or online Live).
As HDAA owns and builds the LMS and infrastructure. We write all of our own courses, we have the power to offer these courses via our LMS in addition to your classroom course for FREE as a paying member.

- Incident management (the overall framework not major incident)
- Problem management
- Service request management
- Languagecert certification gained - English language certification and training
If you need to BPO this is a time saver. Test your staff English levels BEFORE its too late. More and more providers are outsourced overseas, so it only makes sense to be able to have an external test confirming staff ESL certification.
