Happy June!

Oh, wait. It's been June for 18 days. You are probably used to June now. Well, I don't care. Has anyone wished you a Happy June until now? Yeah, I didn't think so. Now you have.

I'm busy. It seems to be a chronic thing with me. Might as well get used to it. But what have I been busy with? That's the question. Here's a short look at life.

Walking–I walked 142 miles this spring! I was shocked that I had that many miles logged! I walked 100 miles with my sister, and I don't know how many miles with my BFFs.

Writing–In May I was able to reach 20k words, so that was fun! I was feeling like I couldn't end any story. So many were started and I just couldn't seem to get to the end of any of them. And then June came. I reached the end of a couple stories! Including . . . Should I tell you? Just remember that reaching the end don't mean it's ready to publish quite yet. I ended Nan's Ice Cream Shop! That was fun. I'm working on several other stories and am hoping to have another 20k word month in June. I'm at 12k right now.

Working–There was a chance that I would already be working at the County Clerk's Office by now, but I talked with the County Clerk yesterday, and he told me they didn't need me until July 22nd. Yay! That means I can get some other things done! Like most of camp! And I'll only have about 2.5 weeks to work instead of 4-6 weeks. Now before the November election will be another story.

Word Devouring–I'm reading my 94th book for the year right now. My goal is 150 books. I think I can make it, don't you? Speaking of reading, my Read Another Page Reading Challenge ends on the 30th! So get those books read! Get those reviews written, and let me know what you were able to accomplish.

Writing Camp–Today is the first day of Registration for The King's Daughters' Writing Camp! That means you can sign up to be a part of our July camp if you are a writer. If you know of friends or sisters who write, feel free to send the link on to them. Last camp we wrote over 2 million words collectively! That's a lot of words.

But I should get going. I have blog posts to work on (still needing ideas for 2 blog posts if anyone has suggestions), covers to design, books to read, stories to write, and more!
