This is not my normal newsletter. In fact, I've never sent out an email like this before.

June has arrived and normally in June I'm getting settled into a Camp NaNo "cabin" and preparing to spend time in July writing. However, do to several things, I will NOT be participating in Camp NaNo. Here are my reasons:

1. NaNo has been actively promoting gay books and authors not just to the older (18 and above) writers, but also to the children.
2. They are promoting transgender books and authors to writers of all ages.
3. They have said we need to honor the black writers who are trans or queer.
4. They decided to promote "The End of Policing" which is a book that does NOT support our local police and law enforcement.
5. They are asking writers to donate money to bail funds across the country.
6. They are promoting articles which sounds as though they are supporting the terrorist groups in the riots.

Because of these things, I have chosen to delete my account with NaNo and will not be promoting nor participating in any of their camps again unless they return to a writing only community that doesn't promote their own agenda.

If you are a writer and would like to connect with a group of Christian writers of all levels (published and not), please reply to this email and let me know. Some of us are trying to find a way to create our own "writing camp" and would love more writers to join us.
