Camp and Cover Reveals

Dear ,
After sending you my last email with my reasons for no longer participating in Camp NaNo and my hopes of starting a Christian Writers' Camp, I had so many responses. Some said they'd be interested if such a camp for Christian writers was started. Others expressed support of my decision. Honestly, I think that was the largest number of responses I have received, and it encouraged me.
Well, guess what? I sent that email out on the 4th (Thursday). Later that day some friends and I started brainstorming ideas, and by Saturday we had the King's Daughters' Writing Camp ready. We had our camp "councilors" (we call them aunties) and on Monday we opened our doors. As of right now we have just over 50 campers! I am totally blown away by the response.
Below is the information we have sent out. If you wish to join, just send an email to the address listed and ask for an application. And if you have any questions that are not answered here, feel free to reply to this email and ask me, or send a message with your questions to the camp email.
The King’s Daughters’ Writing Camp is a virtual gathering of Christian ladies from all over to focus on writing stories that honor God. Camp will run from July 1st through July 31 although we will be open a few weeks before and perhaps a week afterwards.
This camp was created by a group of writers who wanted a safe place for Christian ladies of all ages to connect with and encourage each other in our writing journeys without worrying about the offensive or unbiblical messages promoted by secular writing organizations.
The camp is run on Slack. (Each participant must create a simple account.) There are separate channels in which to chat with fellow writers, participate in writing sprints, get help on your story, and encourage each other. All information such as emails are kept private, and participants may use pen names if they so desire.
Every “camper” is divided into “tents” and each “tent” has an older, mature young lady counselor known as an “Auntie” who will be there if anyone needs anything, to encourage, answer questions, and to just be an older mentor for writers of all ages.
Since this is an all girls camp, there is no need to worry about inappropriate relationships between guys and girls. We also have a statement of faith and a simple set of rules we ask each camper to agree to.
If you’re interested in participating, just let us know at kingsdaughterswritingcamp@gmail.com and we’ll send you the information you need to sign up!
Now, on another note, I am ready to reveal the covers for my Secret Project! I'm going to release the covers on my blog tomorrow, but you get to see them first. Excited?
If you would like to help me spread the word about these books, you can sign up here. And the books are available to pre-order now. If you pre-order one or more of these books, send a screenshot of your receipt to me, and I'll send you the Prequel for free. (You can also get the prequel if you help me spread the word.)
And yes, I am currently working on Book 3. :)
And that, , is my big news.
