There’s no one size fits all approach to Cultivating Restorative School Community. You can read the handbooks, have the right mindset, and take the skill based trainings, but unless you take the time to:
- Embrace these practices on a personal level to model to your community
- Create structures and policies so these practices can thrive
- Communicate and invite all necessary stakeholders into this work
Your RJ implementation efforts won't take root and grow.
In these group coaching/integration sessions you will
- Be challenged to envision how this could manifest in your school community
- Be shown examples of how other schools have implemented this work
- Identify barriers to/limitations of implementation in your context
- Collaborate with peers to strategize on how to bring this vision to life at your school
