The Plan to Help 100 Designers Land $200K+ Aligned Roles in 2026

Last year I set a goal: help 100 UX professionals land their dream jobs in 2025.
I didn't hit it.
56 enrolled in Career Creators. 160 bought guides, bundles, and trainings. 14 recorded testimonials.
It felt good to see progress but the voice in my head wouldn't go away:
"What does 'dream job' even mean?"
A few months ago I decided to listen to that voice.
And realized I had it wrong.
Not everyone wanted a new job. Some wanted a promotion. Some wanted to break out of limiting beliefs. Some wanted to stop feeling stuck. Some just wanted clarity.
And not everyone took action. I'm guilty of this too. We all buy courses and resources we never use. Buying doesn't change anything. Action does.
So I made changes:
- Left my full-time role as Head of Product Design.
- Left my university teaching position.
- Simplified my offer to one price.
- Built tools to help people implement faster.
- Focused on helping people who are ready.
The goal was to cut the noise and focus on one thing:
Helping designers who are ready to take action.
The plan for 2026 is to help 100 designers land their next $200K+ aligned UX role.
Without applying online or perfect portfolios.
With 3-5 hours a week. Not 30-50.
Here's The Plan:
1. Continue growing on LinkedIn.
39K followers. I'll keep sharing insight-based content. Not chasing the algorithm. Not posting fluff. Just what's working.
2. Send a daily newsletter with a daily offer.
Every day I'll send subscribers one insight and one offer so they can take action and move closer to their goal.
3. Start a YouTube podcast.
I'll share lessons from my 18-year career. The wins. The failures. The patterns I've seen. I'll bring on clients, customers, and design leaders to share their career stories too.
4. Host monthly workshops and masterclasses.
A customer is worth 100 leads. I'll run workshops to teach my methods. Some will naturally see the benefit of going deeper.
5. Keep it simple: $100/week.
Most career coaches charge $3,000-$8,000 for packages. 80% of the advice is the same.
The other 20%? That's where it matters.
Choose a coach you vibe with. Someone who gets you. Who's been on both sides of the table — not just as a job seeker, but as a hiring manager who's actually hired designers. Someone who's worked in startups, agencies, and enterprises. Who understands how different organizations think.
I've been all of those.
And the frameworks I teach aren't "better resume, better portfolio, better LinkedIn." Those won't get you hired alone. What gets you hired is knowing how to build trust with the right people before the role is even posted.
That's the 20% that matters. And $100/week to access it is a fair deal.
6. Cap spots at 8 per intake.
With capped spots I can focus my time and attention on each person. Quality over quantity.
That's the plan.
But 2025 taught me not to build without boundaries.
So this time I'm setting them from day 1:
1. I don't do maybes.
I only accept a clear yes or no. If someone is unsure, I'd rather focus my energy on finding someone who is ready.
2. I work within my limits.
I left my full-time role and university teaching to focus on coaching and my family. I have a 3-year-old and a 1-month-old. This chapter of my life is about being present with them while helping people who are ready.
3. I keep it simple.
One offer. One price. No confusion. No endless upsells.
4. Action brings clarity.
I built tools and lessons to help you implement faster. Things that used to take 4-8 hours now take 1-2 hours. But I can't take action for you. If you're not ready to do the work, this isn't for you.
5. No sales calls.
I don't do discovery calls or strategy sessions that are really sales pitches in disguise. I send you a private invite in a Google Doc. If it resonates, reply and we get started. No pressure. No awkward calls.
This is the plan.
All that's left is execution.
I'll keep updating you as I go.
