Happy International Women's Day!

You're Simply Ahh-mazing!

When I graduated as a Civil Engineer, I planned to work in a consulting firm where I had a minimal contact with on site assignments.

However, my plan didn't go as I thought it out. 😅

I got an offer to work as a site engineer and took it. I wanted to have a feeling of how it works and looks like.

And I will say that I got seriously burnt.

Whenever I gave an instruction to the foreman on site, he ignored me and I got the 'woman' treatment.

You know the treatment, right?

Where a man thinks and feels that he can NOT take an instruction from a woman though she's a professional with a vast knowledge on the subject matter. 🙄

I didn't allow the experience to shape me though I went ahead to change careers because I no longer see myself working in the construction industry.

I know a lot of you, as women might have had such experiences that are so painful and humiliating.

You're always called out to prove your worthiness over and over again.

I see you.

You've got what it takes to be Ahh-mazing!

Don't even look at the side of those chauvinist.

You're an Extraordinary brand entirely.

You're created with amazing nurturing qualities that the world can't do without.

Remember...you've got this. 👊
