The pandemic has hit all of us hard in some way. It’s uplifting when you see people doing something to help others.  That’s exactly what a group of college coaches is doing with Lauren’s First & Goal Clinic to benefit pediatric brain tumor research and cancer services.  

Created by John Loose, associate head coach at Army West Point, the LFG Camp brought in donations to support their charitable efforts.  Of course, the pandemic shut down the camp which was worked by college coaches volunteering their time, and attended by thousands of high school athletes.

The LFG Clinic was put in place to help make up for the charitable efforts of the camp, but we cannot do it without you. 

We have worked to be sure this clinic includes something for everyone on your staff.  The head coach, coordinators, position coaches, and strength and conditioning coaches. We have confirmed half of our speakers and the remaining half will be committing as their season concludes.  Every coach we have asked has enthusiastically accepted to help this great cause.

The virtual clinic which is January 14-17 will have over 160 FBS/FCS coaches donating their time to present.  Mack Brown, Luke Fickell, Greg Schiano, Dan Quinn headline an incredible line-up of coaches from every position.

If you are not familiar with Lauren’s First and Goal, it is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, a labor of love started in 2004 by John and Marianne Loose in honor of their daughter, Lauren, a pediatric brain tumor survivor. The Loose family started the foundation as a way to help other families who are battling childhood cancer.

Since its inception, LFG has raised more than $2.6 million toward its mission to provide financial support for brain tumor research and cancer services, to offer financial and emotional support to families living with pediatric cancer, and to increase awareness of the disease. These goals are made possible through the funding gained through LFG Football Camp and charitable contributions, and now the clinic.

The clinic is loaded with the best coaches in the game at every position ready to share their knowledge and give to a greater cause.  WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
