Coach ,

If you missed the National Air Raid Clinic in January, you missed a great one! Fortunately, all of the replays are available for you for $84.99 for over 9 hours of clinic talks from the Air Raid Masters:

  •  A. J. Smith (XFL Houston)
  •  John Jenkins (Legend Speaker)
  • Michael Burchett (Univ. of Houston)
  • Kyle Cooper (Ponder HS) *Top 2022 TXHSFB Passing Yards*
  • Gary Goff (McNeese State)
  • Stan Bedwell (Harvard-Westlake HS)
  • Matt Mumme (Colorado State)
  • Hal Mumme (Legend Speaker)

XFL Houston Roughnecks Offensive Coordinator A.J. Smith kicked things off. Here’s a preview of some of the knowledge these coaches shared. In this first clip, Coach Smith gives his insight on becoming a successful offensive coordinator (click on image for video):

Next he shares a concept that he talked over with Mike Leach last spring. Air Raid coaches always tell the QB that “The checkdown is always open on 6.” It’s ingrained in them. Coach Smith said, “why not start with the checkdown?” and that’s exactly what this concept does.  It creates 22 yards of space for a one-on-one with their fat linebacker and your dynamic running back. Here’s a peak at it in this video (click on image for video).
