Hi
I'm happy to announce that I'll will be at DevoxxUK in May, giving a presentation about how to grow as a developer with the help of a mentor, https://www.devoxx.co.uk/speaker-details/?id=3110. If you are attending, please come by and say hi.
I'm also honoured to have been selected to give two presentations at dev2next in Colorado in September. https://www.dev2next.com/speaker/89e267192a9b429b975d81cd33a99a35. This will be the first time at an US conference as a speaker and I can't be more excited about this. One of the presentations is about how we can leverage sharing and public speaking to improve our careers and help others.
You can help me by replying to this email and share your experience with presentations and public speaking. What is the biggest challenge you face relating to sharing and public speaking, and what have you done to overcome it?
On the subject of sharing, here are two links that I have found really interesting lately. I wanted to share them with you.
Addy Osmani have lots of interesting articles and he
has written a book about Developer Experience (DX). It's all about how easily we as developers can get things done. You can download his book here: https://addyosmani.com/dx/ I found it full of good information and is well worth a read.
The Inner Development Goals framework, https://www.innerdevelopmentgoals.org/. The IDGs provide an essential framework of transformative skills for sustainable development. What can I as an individual do to help create a more sustainable world?
Enjoy,
