Well, you might not actually be hungry! You might be experiencing a craving…


These 5 quick questions can help you figure it out in under a minute, so you can eat when you’re hungry and respond to cravings without derailing your results.

Hunger or craving?

5 Questions to Ask

 

1. When did I last eat?

3–4 hours ago = likely hunger

 

2. What am I craving?

Specific food = craving.

Any food = hunger.

 

3. How do I feel?

Tired, bored, stressed? Could be emotional/stress eating.

 

4. Does a balanced meal sound good?

Yes = hunger.

No = craving.

 

5. What else might help?

Go for a walk, drink some water, or rest. If it fades, it’s a craving.
