Did you know the average adult makes about 35,000 decisions a day?


From the moment you wake up…

What to eat

What to wear

Whether to work out

Whether to hit snooze

What to say yes to (and what you should be saying no to)...


That’s thousands of tiny choices draining your mental energy before noon.


No wonder it's so hard to stay focused on your goals.


That’s why I use something called a “purpose filter.”


It’s a quick, 3-question check-in that helps you make better choices without getting stuck in decision fatigue.


Here’s how it works:

1️⃣ Does this align with my word or values for the year?

If it doesn’t support the person I’m working on becoming, it’s probably a no.


2️⃣ Will this move me closer to how I want to feel in December?

Every “yes” should lead you toward the future you actually want.


3️⃣ Can I realistically commit to this without sacrificing what matters most?

If the answer is no, then it’s not a fit (at least not right now).


Try using this filter the next time you’re faced with a choice, big or small. 

You’ll be surprised how freeing it feels to have a system for deciding instead of going in circles.


You’ve done the vision work. Now let’s protect it with better choices!
