Baker Ripley Utility Assistance Program

The next two weeks Baker Ripley is offering a utility assistance program to help you or clients who are struggling to pay utility bills.

The events will take place at the Acres Homes Multi-Service Center on two upcoming dates from 9 am to 12 pm. Those dates are:

• Tuesday July 13th
• Thursday July 22nd

If you live in Brazoria, Galveston, or Harris County, and have a need for financial help, then this utility assistance enrollment event is potentially open to you.

With most utility or rent assistance programs assistance is provided on a first come, first serve basis so anyone who is considering attending this even is encouraged to contact Baker Ripley for more details and also arrive early.

In addition, here is a resource for clients who are seeking transitional housing in Houston

Last week I received an email from a nice guy named Gabriel who told me about the care homes he managed and the population they work with.

Good Samaritan Homes is a network of transitional/care homes that offers affordable housing to vulnerable populations like:

• Seniors
• Recently incarcerated
• Veterans
• Individuals with disabilities
• And other special needs populations in the greater Houston area

If you have client's in these demographics, consider giving them a call to see what options are available.

Lots of new jobs have been added to the job board including:
