The half pretzel twist for intermediate yogiferrets

Voice recognition mistake of the week: Posterior if you think everyone would be interested. (I meant “Post here…”)
It's spring in New Mexico, which means it's sunny, cloudy, windy, and rainy, sometimes at the same time in different parts of the sky. We've been getting some interesting clouds though!
A few days ago, Facebook reminded me that the first Accidental Detective book came out a year ago. Today, three books are out, number four is up for preorder, and we have the cover for number five (isn't it pretty?!). That speed is pretty unusual for a traditional publisher, but the industry is changing.
Cute animals of the week: “When a single Cheetah cub was born at Monarto Safari Park late in the night on Sunday 5 March, keepers were delighted but concerned. This was just the beginning of a very spotty ‘tail’ that ended in an Australasian first for Zoos SA.” Read about it and see a video here.
If you love cute animals, check out the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series. It features the workers and customers at a small-town cat café, and the adorable cats and kittens looking for their forever homes. One reader said, “I loved this book so much that I purchased the next book in the series, and it is just as sweet!” Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series page on Amazon US or Amazon UK.
Speaking of cute animals, ferrets Bear Bear and Panda would like you to admire their adorableness. Where does one end and the other begin? Who can say?
I have a bunch of books from author colleagues to share this week, plus some promo pages where you can get even more titles, many free or 99 cents. So let’s get to it!
Books on My Radar:
Pine Ridge Chronicles, by Zoe Adams: “Lucien seemed to be a pretentious academic, but once Cornelia got to know him better, she quickly realized he was her best hope for saving the family business and her love-starved heart. What could have been a scandal turned out to be the love of Cornelia’s life. Pine Ridge Chronicles is a small-town romance series inspired by Hallmark holiday movies.” This prequel is free with newsletter signup.
Murder at the Vineyard Inn, by Dani Simms: “Innkeeper and vineyard owner, Avery Parker, is thrilled to play a part in a wedding with guests from near and far. Then a mysterious death casts a pall over the festivities. When a dead body is discovered in her newly opened inn, Avery’s dear friend is at the top of the suspect list. Now it’s up to Avery to prove her friend’s innocence and discover the identity of the murderer before they strike again. Wine pairings and irresistible recipes included!” On sale for 99 cents at Amazon.
The Stealth Invasion: A Cybercrime Suspense Thriller, by Chris VECOH: “IT specialist Andrew dedicated years to Douglas & Co, but a betrayal put him in a wheelchair forever. He sets out on a revenge mission to takes down everyone who offended him in the past, including his former boss... Detective Grace Aubrey is a tough Cybercrime detective who resigns when she is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. But she can’t resist closing one last case.” 99 cents for this first installment.
Margot Harris Box Set, by Nora Kane: “A well-known politician’s son is accused of breaking into a women’s shelter and killing a woman. The only witness is hiding. Margot Harris, a fearless private investigator, must use all of her skills and wit to track down the missing witness and bring the killer to justice. With unpredictable twists, a hint of humor, and a fearless protagonist, this book is a must-read for anyone who loves a fast-paced, thrilling mystery.” 4 books for $3.99 or free in Kindle Unlimited. Reviews call it gripping.
Farmer wants a wife (The battle for love book 1), by Jessie Kelley: “Cindy Lockhart and Grace Williams are both successful, vibrant women, but love has passed them by. Through a strange twist of fate, they find themselves on a reality TV show on a quest for love. With their fates intertwined, Grace and Cindy at first battle against each other, but they gradually begin to recognize that their battle is really with themselves. Instead she finds Evelyn dead in the old servant’s quarters. Which of Evelyn’s grandchildren killed her, and why?” 99 cents or free in Kindle Unlimited.
