Southern Treat of the Week: Buttermilk pie is an old-fashioned Southern dessert, sweet, slightly tangy, creamy and smooth. "As penny-pinchers and rationers during the Depression and World War II, Southern women worked with what they had, making pies with common ingredients like vinegar and green tomatoes," according to Southern Living. Kris got two pieces of good news: The first 3 Accidental Detective humorous mystery novels will come out in audio! PLUS HarperCollins/Harlequin contracted for the mass market paperback rights of Something Shady at Sunshine Haven. (Mass-market is the small paperback size. Right now they’re in the larger trade paperback.) I don’t know yet when the new versions will be out. Do you do audiobooks?
