Don't let the blues guy feel you 🤔

Southernism of the Week: “Poor as a lizard-eating cat.” Good imagery, but “He’s so broke he’s busted all Ten Commandments” … well, that's actually kind of confusing if you think about it, but it's catchy.
Visit the Amazon series page for Felony Melanie: Sweet Home Alabama romantic comedy novels or find the links to other ebook retailers. They're "Exciting and page turning!" one reviewer says.
Kris’s voice recognition mistake of the week: “Don't let the blues guy feel you. That wind was better cold.”
Ahem. Let's try that again: Don't let the blue sky fool you. That wind was bitter cold.
Doug is taking advantage of the winter storms to get in some skiing. Look at all the snow Mammoth got!
Kris's ferrets, Bear Bear and Panda, have a different way of dealing with cold weather.
Did you know you can give ebooks as gifts? On the right-hand side of the Amazon page just below the button where you purchase for yourself, another box says, "buy for others." Type in the email address of the person you'd like to surprise and choose what day it should be delivered, such as on Valentine’s Day or their birthday!
Kris’s Furrever Friends Cat Café sweet romance series would make a great Valentine’s Day (or Pal-entine’s Day) gift! Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series page on Amazon US or Amazon UK.
Weirdest thing Kris learned lately: In the 1980s, Sweden was trying to monitor Russian submarines. But when the Cold War ended, they kept hearing the sounds, even though Russia insisted it hadn't sent any subs. Turned out the Swedes were hearing schools of herring panic farting. 😂
Kris’s bonus voice recognition mistake: “Play smoking!” Um, I actually said, “Nice ending!”

Valentine's Day Hunt, by Dariel Raye: “Faye Bedford just transferred to a new city. Working long hours and seldom finding time to meet new people, she just wants a date for Valentine’s Day. Nate Russo’s investment company just went under. All he has to show for six-years of hard work is a classic limo and a bad attitude, but when a friend calls in a favor, he’s in for a ride that might bring him closer to his desires than he ever expected." One reviewer mentioned that a bonus "was references to places in southern Alabama."
Red Velvet & Murder (The Nosy Paralegal Mystery Series Book 2), by Tanya R. Taylor: "Barbara Sandosa, a pastry lover and avid cook, works in her small town's most reputable law firm, where she finds herself prying into the private lives of her boss's clients. What she uncovers in some cases shocks the innocent minds of those in her community, including her level-headed boss who's being handsomely paid to defend all who have retained his services." Readers describe the series as fun and fast-paced cozy mysteries. Preorder this one for only 99 cents.
The Amulet: An uplifting Greek romantic comedy, by Effrosyni Moschoudi: "When Katie loses her office job, a strange woman hands her an amulet for good luck. Next, she gets hired as hotel receptionist on the Greek island of Sifnos. One of the guests, handsome Aggelos, saves the day whenever she needs help. Katie is intrigued by him and his quirky friends, unaware that he is a guardian angel that came with the amulet. Will Katie get her happily-ever-after? On an island as magical as Sifnos, anything is possible!" It claims, "This book will transport you to a Greek summer paradise!" Not bad for only 99 cents.
