Voice recognition mistake of the day: “Most writers are harmless.” I meant most spiders are harmless, though the other is also true – we'll only kill you in our books. Speaking of which …

Have you grabbed your free mystery story collection? It starts with a ten-page story set in the world of “The Accidental Detective” series. This is followed by information about the first books in the series, plus the first chapter of book 1, Something Shady at Sunshine Haven. After that are three fun, short stories originally written for children. The direct download page is here.

Voice recognition mistake, I assume: I got a five star review on Romance and Rescues at the Cat Café: “The story was great loved the romance kinda sneezing in for two people finding each other.” I can’t figure out what that should be, but thanks for the review! (If you don't have all the cat café books yet, visit the Kris Bock page on Amazon US or Amazon UK. For other countries click here.)
