I'm a dog today. 🐶 How are you?

Voice recognition mistake of the day via the smartphone: "I'm a dog today." Any guesses to what I intended to say? (The answer is below.)

Monsoon season has lasted late in New Mexico. We had a full week of cloudy, drizzly days. Hooray for rain in the desert!

The Accidental Billionaire Cowboys series launches soon! (Yes, I have  Accidental Detectives and accidental billionaires. I guess I'm accident-prone.)

Who wouldn't want to be a billionaire? Turns out winning the lottery causes as many problems as it solves. The Billionaire Cowboy’s Christmas comes out November 8. You can preorder now via the highlighted text! If you would like an e-book copy in advance for review, simply reply to this email and request one! (This offer is for people who review on Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, an active blog etc. so please let me know where you intend to review. Early reviews can help a book succeed.)

When Josh Tomlinson’s mama wins a fortune in the lottery, the formerly tight-knit Texas ranching family is suddenly on edge. Seeking advice, Josh reluctantly contacts a family friend who is now an attorney, Carly Garza.

Carly’s crushed on Josh for years, but now his client and billionaire statuses put him firmly out of reach. They’re already keeping the family’s lottery win a secret from the town. Can they also hide their budding romance during the most magical time of year?

Answer to the voice recognition mistake: What I actually said was, “I may jog today.” I wish I had the option of turning into a dog for a day!

Bonus voice recognition mistake: "Make the cats execute, and they might clear the shelters by New Year’s day." 😳 Ahem, let's change that to "extra cute."

imageThat was from writing Christmas Cookies at the Cat Café, a sweet holiday read: Christmas isn’t the same since Diane’s kids grew up and her husband died – so when her high school sweetheart comes back to town, maybe it’s time for some cozy new holiday traditions. Visit the Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series page on Amazon US or Amazon UK.

Panda and Bear Bear would like to report that their food dish is empty and they need immediate help, please. (They are lying, by the way. They still got more food. Can't resist the cute.)
