But where do you find analogy pill? 🤔

Voice recognition mistake of the day: “Analogy pill might help with your energy level.”
While I do enjoy a good literary comparison, an allergy pill is probably better more helpful when one is tired during allergy season. 🤧🥱
In the Tales of a Reluctant Psychic mystery series, a quirky loner who can read the history of any object with her touch gets drawn into mysteries at the museum of oddities where she works. The series has been republished with new titles and covers, which should be updated at all retailers now:
How to Avoid Murder and Other Jobs (was A Stone Cold Murder)
Death Takes a Field Trip (was Death at Rock Bottom)
Murder’s Weekend Getaway (was Buried in Betrayal)
Readers say:
“Kris Bock blends murder, mystery, and psychic suspense seamlessly, and I’m obsessed.”
“…what truly resonated with me was Petra’s emotional journey. Her anxiety about being discovered, her cautious approach to forming friendships, and her affection for her pets (the cats! the ferrets! my heart!) made her character incredibly relatable. I found myself laughing, gasping, and perhaps shedding a tear or two.”
“Kris Bock has crafted a story that’s equal parts murder mystery, psychological deep-dive, and small-town gothic horror (in the best way).”

Mercury and Rigby think the laundry basket is highly entertaining. I can’t prove them wrong.
I’m still working (slowly) on the next Magical Cat Café and Teashop book. I'm at a writing retreat for a few days, so I hope to make good progress! It's at an Abby near Albuquerque, which is hot enough right now to encourage me to stay inside working most of each day. I'll also be hanging out with local writing friends for good conversations over meals and in the evening.
If you’ve read the first book, please leave a review (on Amazon, GoodReads, BookBub or elsewhere) and/or tell any friends who might be interested!
Find book 1 at your preferred store or buy the ebook directly from my online shop.
“Very sweet story with subtle magic, charming cats, and connections formed between people that need them. Heartwarming and encouraging, and did I mention cats?” – Lita
Here’s a scene from my town in central New Mexico recently. We actually got some rain!

☆☆☆☆☆ review for the audiobook: "What a delightful book! The characters are thoroughly engaging (Kate and Jen are my favourites), the mystery is exciting, the romance between Kate and Todd is adorable, and the humour is wonderfully witty. Christina Delaine nails the narration, as always."
