harder than sticking a wet noodle in a wildcat’s... 🙀

Southernism of the Week: “It’s harder than trying to stick a wet noodle in a wildcat’s butt.” Why anyone would want to do that, we don’t know.

Sweet Home Alabama is now available on Hulu! Maybe it’s time to revisit this fan favorite. (Or maybe you watch it multiple times every year already. We won’t judge.) If you don’t yet have the first two books in the prequel series, visit the Amazon series page for Felony Melanie: Sweet Home Alabama romantic comedy novels or find the books at All E-book retailers.

Doug has been enjoying hiking along the California coast while Kris was buried under snow in New Mexico.

Fortunately, Kris had fun socks to help her stay warm.

Dear voice-recognition software: it is not entirely true that ammonites are "related to octopus, squid, and novelists," though there's probably a cool metaphor there.

On a more serious note, Kris has been fascinated by the daily lessons from 28 Days of Black History –“Learn Black history in 5 minutes a day." Each email includes a photo or other cultural artifact and information about it. Check it out here.

What Was Said: inextricable.

What Voice Recognition Heard: an extra pickle ball
