And now for something completely different...

A new email format! I'm moving my lists over to SendFox, a new provider. From here on out emails will be simpler in structure (no more fancy HTML styling), which means we can really focus on the content. Let's jump right in.

Acknowledging your successes is self-care

If you're doing NaNoWriMo this month you're probably starting to feel the drag of the daily word count. It's demanding, relentless, heavy. I'm feeling it, too.

So I figured this was a good week to do something I've been putting off: focus on what's working in my writing.

I went through feedback on my recent major projects, and compiled the best comments into signs for my wall.

How do you record and acknowledge your writing successes? What's your biggest success to date? How did you celebrate? I'd love to know!

Next time, lessons from NaNo 2019. We can do it!

Catch you next time,
