Hi ,

I hope this year has been treating you well. For my part, I'm just really hoping that the second trimester will ease up the constant fatigue and brain fog I've been feeling since it makes it a lot harder to be productive. I'm focusing on getting words down when I can and trying go easy on myself when I can't.

Right now, Once upon a Forbidden Door is sitting at just over 3 thousand words, so I still haven't gotten very far yet. Prince of Shadows, which I'm working on at the same time, is at the point where I've plotted enough to start writing.

Sales, Freebies, and/or New Releases

I don't have anything for this category at the moment, but I'm working on putting together something I hope will be big for June.

imageThe Secrets of Blackthorn Hall by T. S. Everly

This is an early-access edition of The Witch of Blackthorn Hall, a gothic romantasy perfect for fans of forbidden magic, haunted mansions, and slow-burn romance. If you enjoy the story, I’d love it if you left a review or shared it with fellow romantasy readers.

She is bound to the Veil. He doesn’t believe in magic. Until the Hall chooses him.

When scholar Gabriel Harrow arrives at crumbling Blackthorn Hall to catalogue its dusty secrets, he doesn’t expect the house to open its doors for him—literally. Nor does he expect to meet Eleanor, the reclusive and sharp-tongued witch who claims the Hall is alive… and watching.

Eleanor has guarded the Veil her entire life—a boundary that keeps unspeakable things from slipping into their world. But something has shifted. The old protections are faltering. And the stranger the Hall let in? He may not be so ordinary after all.

As the Veil thins and old enemies rise, Gabriel and Eleanor must unravel centuries of magic, betrayal, and buried bloodlines. But the deeper they dig, the more entwined their fates become—and the more dangerous their bond grows.

A lush romantasy of gothic mansions, forbidden magic, and slow-burn love. Perfect for fans of Deborah Harkness, Scarlett St. Clair, and K.J. Sutton.
