Hi ,

The winner of last month's giveaway is Kati at k ... z at hotmail dot com. If this is you, you should have received your gift card by now,

I have finally moved on to the technical editing for Princess of Hope, so I should be ready to send out ARCs any day now. If you aren't on my team and you'd like a free advanced copy, make sure to sign up. Unless the technical editing makes me cut significantly, this will be my longest book to date. My other novel-length books ranged from just over 50,000 words to around 55,000 words. At the moment, this one is sitting at exactly 61,348 words.

Based on the results of the survey last month, I won't be starting this series out in KU, but I'm strongly leaning toward the idea of putting the whole series in KU for a few months after the last book is published. I'm not 100% sure what I want to do. Since I'm planning this as a 7 book series, I have time to figure out what to do by the end. There were only 4 of you who said you read KU, 2 of which said you preferred KU. I don't want to disappoint anyone, but I also need to think about this from a business standpoint and KU hasn't worked out the best for me.

I'm thinking I'll likely alternate between Once upon a Story books and my new Divine Artifacts books to prevent myself from getting burned out. Once upon a Stepmother is the next book I intend to release. However, while writing Once upon a Betrothal, I realized that I really need to take some time to better organize my resources. When I was fact checking for consistency across the series, there were way too many places I needed to look. So it will most likely be something that I publish early next year.

I finally have good news to share for audiobook lovers. My library's sound booth was repaired a couple days ago, so I managed to schedule my training for next Tuesday. I'm not sure what the schedule looks like after that, but once I finish the training, I should be able to at least start making progress on the audiobooks.

For this month's giveaway of a $5 Amazon gift card, let me know what you think of my world map.

Sales, Freebies, and/or New Releases

Princess of Hope is on Amazon preorder for $2.99. I'm planning to get it listed on the other sites sometime this week, but the universal link should work for the others when they are added. After release on October 18th, it will be going up to full price.
