Hi ,
Developmental editing for Once upon a Betrothal is finally finished. Now I'm working on the technical side of editing. As soon as that's finished, I'll be sending out ARCs. If you're already on my team, you'll be getting that soon. If you aren't on my team and want to join, you can sign up here.
Want to read a slightly less polished version, before ARCs go out? It'll be on my Ream page until mid June. I have to pull it from Ream at that point because it will be going into Kindle Unlimited. Once it's published, I'll be pulling The Lost Assassin to publish wide.
Are you a Kindle Unlimited reader? I know I was for a long time. But their prices have gone up significantly from when I first joined. As a reader, I'd probably still be subscribed to KU if my budget wasn't tight.
But as an author, I prefer Kobo Plus, which is why all except my most recent release can be found there. Are you familiar with Kobo Plus? Unlike Kindle Unlimited, I can let readers download my books for free on Kobo Plus without having to only be published in one place. As a reader, I do prefer the KU app over the Kobo one which seems slightly less easy to use. However, since I started reading on Kobo Plus, I haven't been disappointed with the selection. On the reader side of it, I'd say the major advantages to Kobo Plus are the lower price and that I haven't run into a limit to the number of books I can pick without having to return anything. I think I'm up to about 40 books at the moment that I've added to my library through Kobo Plus.
If you've emailed me in the last month or so, I'm still working on catching up on checking my emails. Please bear with me, but I will respond eventually.
For this month's giveaway of a $5 Amazon gift card, hit reply and let me know what makes you happy.

When Bonnie ends up with an unexpected summer job at the camp, she’s stuck with Clay Sylvester, an experienced outdoorsman who's rough around the edges and wants nothing to do with a city girl like Bonnie. Blackberries and Crowns by Mary Stehenson Su
Coming from a small mountain school, Jovan has struggled to fit in at the Imperial Academy. His sharp tongue doesn’t help things. It’s left him running from bullies more than once. When he stumbles across a beautiful elf skilled in self-defense, he can’t believe his luck.
As heir to the imperial throne, Princess Everlee can never let her guard down. When Jovan needs help standing up to a bully, she’s happy to train him. It’s nice to make a friend who doesn’t realize she’s royal. He likes her for herself, not for her title.
When Jovan’s smart mouth gets him in trouble again, they’ll make sure he’s ready for the challenge. Will his friendship with the elf of his dreams help him belong in the Imperial Center, or will he get clobbered by an adversary that he never expected?
Blackberries and Crowns is a novelette that takes place before Book 1 of the Valley Glen Elves series. Great for fans of clean YA romantasy.
