april (snow) showers? ☃️❄️

Hi Friends! Happy April! Apparently we're not out of the woods yet because it snowed here last night! Hopefully this will be our last taste of winter and then we'll have a beautiful summer. 🤞

If you want to smile, my brother made this action figure with AI. Pretty accurate I'd say....except can you spot how the flip flop is NOT a true minimal / barefoot shoe? It doesn't have a strap around the back, so it would not be secure to your foot, encouraging hammer toes and external rotation of both legs while walking. Besides that I think it's super cute....maybe I need some merch??


I have been reflecting on mindset recently and thinking about how everyone who has said, "Just do a little bit each day" really was on to something. 😆 Most change in life - physical, emotional, spiritual - doesn't happen with one day, but slowly, over time by putting in the work in small increments.


Reading a hefty book is easier if you break it into a chapter a day. Building muscle has to take time, and it's a lot easier to get into a groove of going to the gym for 30 minutes each day instead of trying to spend 4 hours there one day a week...plus your body will thank you for the consistency over intensity. We're talking about sustainable, lasting change.


Making improvements in our pelvic floor and foot health is the same; we have to do it slowly and deliberately, taking care to spend time on it daily.


My Spring encouragement to you is to write down a few small habits that you can start to do daily that will move you closer to your goals. They have to take max of 5 minutes! Reply and let me know what you come up with!


Here are mine for inspo:

  • 5 minutes on the Solemate daily (working toward passing my Blue Belt Flow!)
  • 5 minutes of chores in the morning (to avoid feeling like I have to do it all when I'm tired in the evening)
  • 5 minutes of decluttering daily (we all know those big projects are overwhelming until you just start.)
  • 5 minutes of birth prep stretches! Inversions and pelvic floor downtraining.
