Happy Friday!

When I started reko.day I knew a day was coming that I would dread. That day is here. It's the day I stop focusing on building the app and start making the world aware of it.

Don't get me wrong, it's exciting too. I've talked to so many people this past year who light up with excitement when they realize my little app will make it possible to eat healthy and local.

Farmers have told me how hard it is to get customers and how much of a mixed bag the farmer's markets are. They want to grow things and make things, not build websites and sign up for online payments.

It turns out reko.day solves a lot of problems for a lot of folks.

I sometimes think about how many of us never get to eat fresh produce. Sure, grocery stores have produce, but the apples can be a year old, the tomatoes months old, and so on. What will happen to how we eat when we have access to high-quality fresh produce grown by people we know and trust? Will we crave a perfect cucumber more than a bag of chips?

Maybe not, but I can dream.

Putting something out into the world that I've put a lot of work into is when I find out if my dreams were only dreams or not.

Here's how you can get a free subscription:

1. Download reko.day (Or update it if you already have it)
2. Create a reko
3. Check your email for a code for a free subscription

I'll update the app soon with the changes for this free subscription, so keep an eye out.
