Happy Friday!

I realize my emails and updates have been inconsistent lately. For the past few weeks, my family and I have been in full summer vacation mode.

Summer is coming to a close, though, and my hope was to launch this app before local farmer's markets end. I'm not sure I'll be able to pull that off, but I'm going to give it my best shot. The thinking there was that it'd be easy to get folks to give the app a shot while everyone was gathering at farmers' markets, so the fall and winter would see some use with the folks who signed up in the summer.

Even as I've been running around with my family, part of my mind is always working on Reko Day. I daydream a bit of a wild future that exists where towns and cities feel more like a community because families and farmers are meeting regularly to get local food. I think about the possibility that families' health improves as they eat more fresh produce, and farming and gardening also begin to change as the market for local produce grows and grows.

It's a dream that keeps me going.

Anyway, I want to keep this email short since I've got a video update to share.
