As you know, at reko.day, we are all about fresh local produce. Well, I was thinking that as reko.the day grows, and farmer's markets start, wouldn't it be great if we had some recipes to share that turned those wonderful local ingredients into a delightfully delicious meal?

Here's your chance to share a recipe that you love with the world!

I'm putting together a whole new part of the reko.day website that will feature recipes from you. The idea is that as folks go shopping for fresh and local foods, they can also find wonderful recipes.

All you have to do is reply back with a recipe you'd like to share. All I ask is that the recipe features one ingredient that you can get fresh and local. I'll publish the recipe and provide credit to you however you'd prefer.

As reko.day grows, so will the audience of folks coming to our website to learn more, and that means your recipe will wind up feeding folks all across the country.

For those of you who might need just a slight bit of extra encouragement, here are some ideas for recipes or ingredients that would be great to feature:

• Devilled Eggs
• Corn
• Salsa
• Chili, Soups, and Stews
• Salads (Lettuce, potato, etc)
• Anything with uncooked tomatoes (Bruschetta!)
• Dips
• Pastas with a homemade sauce
