I'm going to keep this email short and sweet.

Let me begin by talking about how the development of the app is going. This week was all about infrastructure. Last week I wrote about how I was replacing my sort of fake database with a real one, and while that work continues, I've made a few more changes.

The main changes are that the official reko.day business exists, as does a bank account. These two things were really important in getting other services I needed to launch the app. With the official business and bank account, I was able to set up Stripe, which is the biggest service in the world for processing payments. Stripe will power how purchasing fruits and vegetables through the application and paying out farmers. Also, the business and bank account allows me to set up the Apple development licenses I'll need to publish the application and develop a few core features.

In other words, I've got all the parts I need, and I can focus on getting them all set up.

The biggest and most exciting change is that I engaged a designer to make the app look less like ugly words on a screen and more like a real app. I'm still getting revisions and such ith the designer, but I love the direction the designs are going and I want to hear what you think too!
