Hey! Today is the day Nigerians decide. I believe you have been seeing this trending on Twitter since last night and you surely do know why.

It's the day slated for the Presidential elections, the day for you and I to decide who would be capable enough to lead us for the next 8 years. Our nation, Nigeria has wallowed for so long in a lot of pain, suffering, hardship, insecurity, the list goes on and on.

This is why it is important to vote wisely for a credible candidate who has the concerns of the people at heart.

But as you go out there to vote today, it is important you take note of these:

  • Avoid disregarding directives from electoral officers. As much as possible, ensure to do as they tell you except it's on grounds of rigging the elections.

  • Do not start any sort of banter, fight, or violence in any form. Your aim is to exercise your franchise and return home safely.

  • Avoid campaigning for your candidate to the point of agitation. Possibly, vote quietly if the tension is too high to campaign for your candidate.

  • Do not be in a hurry to vote. First of all, go through the registration process that qualifies you to vote. After that, wait in the queue till it's your turn to vote.

  • Do not thumbprint over or beneath your ballot paper. Do it right inside your ballot paper else your vote would be considered invalid.

Remember the ball is in your court to join the 100% of Nigerians that would make Nigeria work again or join the 5% that still want to see Nigeria fail for the next 8 years. You already know that if Nigeria works, Future Syllabus would work for you.

So vote wisely, vote with your conscience, do not allow yourself to be bought, above all, stay safe!
