Are you too busy chasing the โfuture versionโ of yourself?๐
Focusing on the future and on where youโre headed is KEY to growing and hitting your goalsโฆ
But not if itโs at the expense of living in the present moment.
I learned this the hard wayโฆ
I remember returning to the gym after rehabilitating my knee injuries for 3 months, and I got so hung up on seeing my strength results.
After a while, I realized I was missing the whole point.
I was so caught up in โgetting thereโ that I missed how far I had come!
So I asked myself things likeโฆ
๐ด Is it getting easier to sleep through the night?
๐ง Are my joints feeling better?
๐ Am I craving less junk?
Thinking like this completely changed my perspective.
More importantly? It made me feel better โin the present momentโ instead of waiting for some far-off future to feel good.
We have to celebrate those little wins!
