Summer's ending. Labor Day and back-to-school time are coming soon.


These can be tough times for staying fit and eating well.


What's your plan?


Many people give up. They say, "I always gain weight in summer. Why fight it?"


Don't fall into this trap.


Instead, set realistic goals now. Build good habits.


Get ahead of the game.


Don't accept the idea that you'll gain 10 pounds over the summer and lose it in the fall.


Start moving in the right direction now. This gives you room to enjoy the rest of summer without worry.


The time between the 4th of July and Labor Day is hard for starting a fitness plan. Too many distractions and temptations.


By September, the damage is done.


Don't wait.


Just start.
