I want to tell you about something I’ve been building for the past several months.

The Fire Years.

It is a four-day retreat for women standing at the threshold of a new chapter — October 30–November 2 at Frenchman’s Cove in Portland, Jamaica.

And I want to be clear about what it is not.

It isn’t a wellness conference. It isn’t a place where we’re going to tell women how to manage themselves, their hormones, their bodies or their emotions so they can get back to “normal.”

Because what if this isn’t something to manage?

What if it’s a threshold to cross?

Menopause can bring insomnia, brain fog, rage, exhaustion, shifting identity and a body that suddenly seems to have its own agenda.

But underneath the symptoms is something bigger.

A woman is changing.

I created FIRE Years because I kept meeting women who wanted somewhere they could talk about that change honestly — without apology, without pretending, and without being made to feel as though something was wrong with them.

A place where you can arrive exactly as you are.

A place where women can say, “This is what is happening to me,” and hear, “Me too.”

That’s the kind of room I wanted to create.

Over four days, we’ll have accommodation, meals, RTT healing sessions, hands-on myofascial bodywork and practical tools to take home.

I’ll be joined by Paul Hamilton, whose bodywork helps us reconnect with what the body is carrying, and Calvin Mitchell, International Master Drummer, who will bring rhythm and movement into the experience in a way you probably won’t expect.

Because The Fire Years isn’t about staying in your head.

It’s about experiencing this transition mind, body and spirit.
