Heartbreak Isn't Always Dramatic

A client said recently:
“I don’t recognize myself anymore.”
Heartbreak has a way of quietly rearranging a person.
Especially after betrayal.
Divorce.
Abandonment.
The slow exhaustion of carrying pain no one else fully sees.
Sometimes it is not only the relationship that ends.
Sometimes your sense of self disappears with it.
You wake up one day realizing:
you have been surviving…
but you have not truly felt like yourself in a very long time.
And perhaps that is why Soul Story Retreat matters so deeply to me.
Not as an escape from life.
But as a return.
A return to silence.
To breath.
To the mountains.
To mornings untouched by urgency.
To conversations that allow you to exhale.
To the parts of yourself that became buried beneath grief, performance, survival, and disappointment.
From July 24–26, in the hills of Trelawny, we will gather for something gentle, honest, and deeply restorative.
Fresh mountain air.
Food grown from the land.
River water.
Stillness.
Storytelling.
Healing.
Not because anyone needs fixing.
But because sometimes the soul needs space to remember who it is again.
